We had a King size bed and it was all clean and serviced daily. bathroom good but loo blocked occasionally...Fridge well stocked and safe at reception, but no trouble. Mozzies need mozzie coils...
Breakfast was ok nothing fancy but filling, however stairs to breaky were the only problem for me as I had arthritis.... The pool is good as is the bar and the staff are very friendly. The new Spa was great and cheap as prices for the guests (Rp. 50,ooo).The deluxe rooms looked good and were the closest to the pools. They had a private courtyard.
Yes it was far away for me RP. 25ooo to discovery mall, 70,ooo to the airport. However it was nice around there and we didnt mind staying out of the heart of things. The Restaurant over the road was beautiful all duck and really nice...and there was a small warung next door for chips etc...
I would probably go back but you need to weigh up the distance from the savings. We spent 4 nights at Puri Raja also and I would go back there tomorrow. :) It all depepnds on whether that was all your holiday or you were just getting the cheapest package and moving on...
