whilst I am from the era where mums knowingly infected their children with every disease imagineable I do not condone it for one minute. Quite a few years ago I knew a little 5 year old boy who did catch them and sadly that little boy died due to complications from them. Our town was very shocked by his death. It is also well know by most that you should never give a child with chickenpox asprin to bring down temperatures as this can cause serious complications resulting in death.
