Woke up this morning at 7am and it has rained overnight but is dry now. After the usual BGH breakfast it's down to the beach which is nearly deserted although a ceremony has just finished next door. Brightly clad men and women are lingering in groups whilst 'chewing the fat'. Today a massage for my neck and shoulders by Ketut for an hour which leaves me feeling relaxed and thoroughly oiled, I should slip into this day no worries. Off to R-zky's to collect Pam's boots from Ronnie, what a nice guy he is, we have a chat about this and that, gee it's a hard life being a tourist in Bali, LOL !! The boots he had made were absobloodylutely perfect in every detail, Pam was well pleased when I got them back to Oz for her. Looks like it's more work for him next year as well. On the way back in my jalan jalan, I popped into more DVD shops for the missing discs that H...gie couldn't obtain for me. Sadly I found many and will be using another source next year. By the way he didn't serve me one of his lady assistants did.. This wide-screen and normal screen is a problem though and they will have to segregate them soon. Guess what ? I left my watch behind in the massage shop and hurried back to retrieve my wife's present to me. No worries I soon had it on my wrist and averted another potential problem. Please don't ask me me how I left it there !! I got lost around Jalan Legian and had an absolute ball meeting out-of-the-way people and sights. One day in Bali on my own I might get a taxi, so far I have walked everywhere. I ate at a warung who's name I haven't any idea about, whilst OK it didn't set my culinary world alight, but I know it was very cheap. Very tired today, doing less but walking forever and sleeping better. What a charmed life, reality awaits on Monday night when it's back to Oz. Saw the Heathrow Airport fiasco on TV in London, well done the British bobbies, now hang the culprits !!
