Sate Bali is mostly demonstration with a little hands on.
There's too many dishes to prepare & not enough time if everyone had to start from scratch..
You get to sit down for a feast afterwards with the owner/chef.
I really enjoyed it & thought the food was fantastic, so made sure we went back for a meal on our last trip.
