Hi,
We visited a Carry for Kids orphanage in Denpasar which was called Tunas Bangska. If you look on the Carry for Kids website there are many opshanages within close range of Kuta/Legian or you can go further East, West or North. Of course many of the ones further out get less visitors due to tehir locations.
Many people have referred me to Carry for Kids and we were very pleased with our visit taking both gifts and donating money. They arrange a driver who picked us up from hotel in Legian and took us to Denpasar. He then waited for about 40 minutes and then took us back to hotel. About 150000 rupiah from memory. The kids loved the visit. What I did find however that many things we took over could have been purchased much more cheaply at MAKRO wharehouse in Denpasar giving us more for our money I guess. Next time we go over we are collecting money then buying local
Hope this helps
