a really early start for hubby this morn he set his phone alarm for
6.15am jumped up got dressed and off he headed to play golf, only to get outside locked door and realized he had,nt changed the time on his phone just his watch it was only 4.15am..he..he l thought it very funny, when l heard him still out there awhile later. he played golf at nirwana bali golf club at tanah lot, ouch very expensive approx $210.au + clubs $28/$56 depend on type caddy included but a $50.000rp tip is expected, it was his treat to himself for giving up smoking.
headed over to discovery plaza in the afternoon and found bread talk and starbucks, what more could a girl want bread and butter pudding (to die for) and a giant coffee, forget the shopping.
another lazy afternoon on the beach and then to gado gado for dinner,
l was,nt all that impressed but hubby loved it, food was good and service excellent.
at some point in the last few days l had also done the rounds of some of the bead suppliers, double strands of pearls 25,000, shell pearls 20,000, stone chips 20,000 this was at ganesha beads, uc beads was another good one both in seminyak, found three other good ones on left side of road facing kuta between jl pura bagus taruna and jl padma, these had pearls for 15,000, small glass beads 3,000 per strands and heaps more.
day..6 we left hotel about 9am with made heading for negara which we found out was his village, l had everything covered or so l thought,
had tried to contact orphanage by phone no go, bumped into filo in legian and he sugested we just go, hope you are feeling better filo and thank you again for your advice, before we left l had looked on the net for the negara orphanage details so off we go stopping at some amazing spots on the way, soka was beautiful and the scenery on the drive made the three hours each way pass quickly, arriving in negara we asked directions to market to buy supplies of food to take, that was an experiance in itself and as usual smiles and laughter all round especially from the children, car packed we headed up the road to the orphanage, on arrival l thought something was different to what l had seen on filos web site, but we were greeted with huge smiles from the children and the adults,after unloading the car the kids wanted to see what we had taken them, the favourites were the bubbles no matter how old they were and the kilos of oranges, the older boys loved the soccer balls, we had tea and chatted as best we could one of the older girls spoke a little bit of english, these kids are amazing
so friendly to strangers they wanted to show us where they slept and prayed, one little boy called renaldo 3yrs old had the cutest little face he was left there when he was a baby, bit by bit he got closer to me until he was leaning on my leg and smiling up at me, talk about make you melt, this was another rewarding day l,m glad we made the effort, somthing was still bothering me about this orphanage so when we got home on tuesday l got back on filos site and quess what there is more than one in negara we went to giri asih, oh well theres always next time.
another massage so far l had managed to get one everyday some full body others just feet and shoulders, all were good yet to have a bad one...is there such a thing for $8/$10.
had dinner at lanai really great food service great and good value,
2 beers/2coffees/2 entrees/2mains $200,000.
day..7 an easy beach day, a little shopping, ended up in poppies 1 so we decided to eat at the tree house again really good food and value
1beer/1juice 2entrees/2mains and only $72,000.
the rest off our holiday was much the same as today just relaxing,
we ate at poppies rest that was excellent, zanzibars the same, all worth a try.

the quickest cuppa ever.
didnt want to come home, never do, already planning next trip.
thanks to all who answered questions and gave invaluable advice, it really made this trip interesting, more than just a holiday.
