The quickest way to the beach is through the Intercontinental Hotel gardens (opposite resort). You have to spin a yarn to the security guards that you are going over there for a coffee or a meal. There were some people at the resort that loved to walk along the beach and I can't remember how long they said it took them. They ate on the beach several nights and usually walked one way and said it wasn't a terribly long walk (if you enjoyed walking). Sorry I can't be more specific. Think they said it cost about 10,000rp for a taxi to the restaurants on the beach nr Keraton Hotel.
I wouldn't say the timeshare salesman was pushy but he will come and see you and see if he can sell you extra points if you are a Royal Owner or if you aren't try to get you to trade your resort for
Royal Points. You can just be firm and say no if you aren't interested. He isn't actually based at the resort, they have a sales office a few minutes walk from there. He is in the foyer and at the bar of restaurant quite a bit. While you are lounging around the pool or eating at the restaurant you will see people being brought around to look at resort.
Made Dedulb was the driver we used 081-338727461. He is actually based at Sanur but would no doubt travel to Jimbaran. He has a comfortable vehicle a Kijang I think it is. We did have a taxi no that was based locally, he took us from the Novotel to resort and gave us his card and we used him a couple of times, however we threw it away when we left, sorry.
The name of the resort we stayed in was Royal Bali Beach Club at Jimbaran, I know there is another timeshare at Jimbaran.
