says that their burgers are just THE best but in all honesty he'd love Billy's anyway because of the atmosphere, music & great friendly staff.I believe he often called in their last trip when he was on his own - for either a quick meal or a drink when he was off wandering somewhere. He sure seemed to know plenty of people in Garlic lane so he must have spent a lot of time there !

Anyway Billy's is a good family friendly place but also a place that can be great fun for us parents.I can't remember exactly what we have ever ordered there but their food & presentation was good.

I expect some other parents may think it's horrid to let teenagers have their own money, be on their own,do their own thing or have any freedom from their parents when in Bali but we have got to the stage that after taking him for so many trips for so long that he now has his own friends & people his own age that he has got to know & that he wants to spend time with.We have even taken out some of his young friends to dinner ( with their parents permission) with us which has good for our son to have company his own age.

I think it's funny when I walk down the street or on the beach & hear a Balinese teenager say in English " That's ------ Mum as I walk past !!!
I suppose it's good that our son is just as comfortable walking around & getting to know people as we do.

I still think one of the funniest moments of knowing our son feels comfortable in Bali is when he's been out for a few hours & has run out of money & is hanging out for a drink on the way back to our hotel. He calls into S & S & tells them he has no money left but that Mum & Dad will fix the up next time we see them <LOL>
