The walk from HMGH into Ubud can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 5 hours depending on what you look at and how many people you talk to.
When we were there August last year Jalan Bisma was pretty rough but has since been paved so will make the walk that much easier.
I enjoyed my walk in and out of HMGH especially in the cool of the evening.
