Haven't flown to Bali from New Zealand before, hoping to do so in September. Can anyone give me an idea how to find cheapest fares from Christchurch? Cheapest I've found so far is flying Air NZ to AUstralia, then Garuda to Bali at about NZ $1350 plus something like $300 taxes (25% less for the kids). Does this sound a 'good' price? Seems awfully high compared to flying to USA for instance. What have any of you paid? Is there maybe a time of year that's generally cheaper to fly out? Cheers!
