It is so good to be back reading this great forum. We returned to Bali in January after begin away 18 years and loved it all over again. I still have to put my final JBR on of Sideman, Amed and more and will do that soon. Our 5 statues arrived this week totally intact and within 3 months..we live in the US and Canada.
Our driver Nyoman was wonderful and I highly recommend him. (0812 395 1081) His brother Made is also fabulous guy.
My question today is we are going back hopefully in January again and this time I want to find a place on the water where it is calmer water than Legion or Semniyak so we can go in ...this is for the first few days...so any comments are welcome...I heard Sanur the water is calm but shallow ...I am fine with some wave activity but not so big you can't go in...I am looking for the old Candidasa feel...I have been to Lovina and Amed and they are great but this is for the south coast area. Does Tuban have calmer waters? We swam at Geger Beach near Nusa Dua and it was great for swimming and spending the day...but the hotels in that area are too expensive...thanks a lot
