Yes places to buy books. several in department stores.They sell novels ( quite expensive ) and beautiful information books on Bali. One of the most well known shop is Gramedia.
If you mean paperbacks to read whilst you are there lots of side street stalls around. Thyey don't "buy back" so we just donate the ones we take from Oz.
