oh gees where do you start okay have to think about this....but first thing...go out in kuta paddys/bounty get it over and done with then you can see the real bali :)
Okay I will take lembongan.
-take the local ferry cheap and it is indo after all it's a great straight and it's part of the experience to worry about sinking in indo...wish i still could.
-Ketut losmans..sth from main ski is good...but mix the eating out up.
-Do the snorkle over on the wall at pendida is awesome full drift snorkle on a vertical sea cliff(try not give your bussiness to tony...cause im shaw he is rich by now,I do like him but I try to use the other guys now)
-Hire some motor bikes and cruz the Island (expensive by Indo standard but worth it and safe...100 times safer than kuta)
check out cinnagin (spelling?)
-Have a good meal over at the yuppie end...forgot the name where those beach huts are and go by boat before sunset and come back at night is very cool romantic.
-Take a walk up to the seaweed farmers village but be very respectful they are very poor...young children may want money for photo...up to you.
-Take a walk down the main street and see what kuta was once like.
-visit Mushroom bay and eat there very good food, beautiful scenery.
-Cock fights were very hush hush this year...but go see one just for the experience if you can.
-Take a lot of walks by yourself and explore this is when you will see the most and meet real locals.
-Hang out on the pontoon between lacerations and playgrounds for an arvo good just for a people watch if your not going for a wave.
That's about it i think...have never checked out the cave thingy underground house whatever always meaning too.
If it's your first time I can give a good list of dont's everytime I go to bali I have a learning experience in the first day or night her are some.
my last was down near double six at 3 in the morning and a bencong pulled up and tried to grop me...20 seconds latter I realised it had my wallet...so off i chased down an alley i got it too...the wallet that is.
Don't leave your card in A.T.Ms (last thing to come out after cash, receipt)
Don't go out your first day with cameras around your necks and let sexy balinesse girls take you back to there shop that is down some side alley and beleive there pampering is free.
:)
