Lovina is one of our favourite places in Bali & we have a few friends who are locals - Aussie & Dutch expats who I am sure who be able to look after you if you need any help.Contact me via email if you'd like their details.Just remove the no spam when you hit the link.
I am 100% sure you will absolutely love Lovina.I can help you out also re some great places to eat & have a few drinks, listen to some music & partyon till the wee hours.Honestly drinks & food is just SO cheap it's amazing. We are a lot older than you but still like to party. Many people will say Lovina can be very quiet but as far as we are concerned it can be as lively or as quiet as you want it to be.Some nights we'd eat in & go to bed early & watch TV other nights we'd be out till 1 or 2am.
If you want to know the best place to stay with great facilities that's really close to the action but far enough from the noise so you aren't kept awake it's definately Rambutan cottages. While we were there people from other local hotels moved there cause they were so disappointed with what their rooms were like.An Aussie called Richard from the forum & his lovely Balinese wife called Tini own Rambutan Cottages. The rooms range from fairly basic to luxury depending on your budget, the gardens, pool & setting is wonderful, yummy breakfast also.Do a search on Rambutan if you are interested. It's 1 street back from the Dolphin statue street & is right in Kalibukbuk - central Lovina BUT it's far away from the nightclubs & restaurants that you don't hear the noise, yet less than 5 minutes walk to get anywhere.
If you want any ideas re Lovina contact me & I will do my best to answer any questions.I'm no travel agent - we just love the place & feel we have got to know it pretty well & are happy to help others if we can, especially if they want ideas for doing it cheap.
