There are plenty better... The days of the Troppo being the party hotel are well past... It is the Bounty now... THat's the party hotel.
Rooms are tired.
Everything there costs $$$$$ bar is expensive... Some of the theme nights and bands are ok - but the atmosphere has really dropped off...
Stayed at Dewi Sri last year and there was very few people at Troppo - Dewi is further down same lane.
Hard to be positive about this place... But in reality - you don't spend alot of time there... If you don't want.
Took a football group there a few years ago and we were all disappointed about the resort - but still managed to have a good time... It's still in Bali :)( hard not to have a good time whilst there.
