You could try Ubud Terrace Bungalows on Monkey Forest Road almost opposite Ubud Inn ( close to the forest ). I have stayed there a couple of times and a room should be no more than 70,000 RP.
By the way I was strolling along Brighton Pier ( Sussex ) last Saturday - your neck of the woods sometime ago I believe.
