Bali Melia is located in Nusa Dua....
about a 30-50 minute drive to Kuta/Seminyak
depending on the traffic.
The beaches are very clean,
and swimming is possible there.
Contrary to the frequent currents on the west coast.
Security is placed at this resort area.
As for Bali Melia,
service and rooms are impecable.
Grounds are beautiful.
Eventhough I did not visit every hotel in Nusa Dua,
I did visit quite a few of them....
and this was my favorite one.
Aqua Arobics, cooking classes, special themed meals,
2 for one exotic cocktails, a great spa, and more
is all offered on this property.
Purchases of meals, (around $6-$15US)internet, transportation,
vendor items, etc. are all more expensive in this area.
But amazing priced rooms are offered through the interent and tour operators....so it kind of makes up the cost.
If you plan to share a dreamy honey moon with the loved one,
and just enjoy each others company,
without the frequent need to go to Kuta,
definately consider this hotel.
The General Manager is very visible and available.
