The facts are that travel to Bali is down because of the Bali bombing and other world events.
Travel to Bali is ALSO FURTHER down because of the government warnings not to travel there. I absolutely believe that the government travel warnings are too cautious and have adversly effected tourism in Bali.
Terrorist attacks have occurred in both the US and most recently Spain, but we are not being told to defer travel to these countries.
Finally in the past 12 months I have travelled to Mexico, Brasil and Argentina on multiple occasions. The risk factor in these countries is much higher than Bali. Kidnapping, car jacking and muggings at gun point are dialy occurances, yet the Australian Government does not tell us to defer travel to these countries. One day I was in Rio all the shops were closed because the drug lord had demanded they shut under threat of being fire bombed.
