It was in yesterdays Sunday Telegraph page 35 it states...
Australian Tourists are being kidnapped in Bali by gambling rings that extort money from their victims.
The department of foreign affairs and trade has confirmed that two Australians have been kidnapped recently.
DFAT's travel warning on Indonesia recommends that Australians defer all non-essential travel. As a result of the experiences of the two Australian victims, the warning also highlights the risk of kidnapping and extortion.
And if you go to the DFAT's website the kidnapping has now been put up there aswell...
