Its not hard to think about the "what if's" when you are flying. But its best to remember that flying is much safer than driving. You are much more likely to die driving to work!
Not sure who you are flying with, but OZ jet age aviation is the safest in the world with virtually zero accidents.
As for Garuda, they fly Airbus 330's from OZ to Bali and that aircraft type has zero accidents recorded WORLDWIDE.
