Coz we always invited our drivers to eat with us.

One declined, one ate with us and ordered a very modest meal, and the other had a friend at the restaurant and had a free meal in the kitchen. But we would have been happy to have paid for whatever they wanted. They worked up to eight hours for around $30 Australian.

Isn't it funny how everybody trusts their drivers in Bali, but nobody trusts doctors, whereas at home it's the reverse. Imagine if Taxi drivers were the first people we turned to for advice.
