VET is not free antivirus software but I find it to be very good.
As I said I update the version twice a day.
The helpdesk is very good to deal with if I am ever in doubt.
The only time I got caught out with 'catching' a virus was the time that I bought a new computer, set up the Internet connection (should have downloaded VET next, but didnt), set up Outlook Express to send and receive emails from my email addresses and a 'bug' slipped on to my comptuer, by way of an infected email and played havoc. Pest. I had to scan the hard drive, kill the bug and start again!
