Well what can i say, i am back not happy to be but back.

I will give you a quick JBR Wife will no doubt post a longer one..

Flew Australian Airlines...I would have to say the best service on a flight to date other than business of course, Nothing was a problem plenlty of food drinks all the time and the staff where really good to the kids even on the street the next day.

Stayed at the Dynasty...what a nice place for the family, kids did there thing, wife did her's and i did the pool bar with about 12 others each afternoon. We had an exc. Suite (2 rooms) a must with 2 or more kids, Food very good, Gracie Kelly's Pub a good night out if wanting to stay local.

19th S& S where we met many from the forum then onto Indo-national for dinner what a great afternoon/night and good to meet so many nice people including Filo and his lovely wife.

21st A moving moment or what one person i spoke to said spooky.
I left The bounty at about 1pm to full to go on.
Thought i would walk down to road to catch a taxi as road works have made a mess of the road system and getting to Dynasty from Bounty can take up to 30mins..anyway walking along stopping at a few places to refill beer tanks, listening to the noise of the clubs then all of a sudden noise stopped wind was quite air was hot and thick rounded the corner and there was the Bombing monument right in my face to my right the Sari site it felt very strange the nosie had gone no wind thick air like i was being watched but the only other people where a couple a the monument i stood there the other 2 looked at me and said can you feel it. Yep was the only words i could say. I then walked passed noise started again air was cooler wind blowing.. just thought i would share the moment with you all.

Trip over all...

One resturant i will recommend sorry Filo but i agree with you Pantai on the beach in Tuban, forget the beach resturants at Jimba this place has it all and cheaper, kids can play on the sand in front of you (day & night)whilst you enjoy a top feed.

Highs getting there
Lows not long enough and Leaving

The only thing that i didn't like this trip was the hard sell by many locals letting me now how tough life was.. and it would be a little better if we could leave some clothes etc when we left. Don't get me wrong many people all over the world are doing it tough but when a manager of a Hotel sits down whilst we are eating and writes down his whole monthly budget to us showing us he had very little at the end of the month i find that way over the top. We all go through this but the point is he wasn't that bad off, i found the people who do it tough don't talk about it just get on with life. Take the street workers 15,00Rphs a day to dig drains 10 hours a day i did not see one of them ask for anything in the time I was there just smiling happy to be working bringing something home to the family. My wife gave some clothes to a shop owner "doing it Tough" only to watch many others doing the same ?? think before you jump i guess, sponsor a kid than rather than surport organised begging. As one shop owner a brought stuff from said you being here helps us all spend a little with each of us and we are all happy and a little better off for it.

Thats it any questions about Hotel Tuban etc feel free.

Later
:>))
