I too agree with General Pastika. Cockfighting in Bali has long been the catalyst for gambling debt and its associated problems. The loss of land, possesions and even homes can only add to the stresses that families have to suffer here. Domestic violence, depression,poverty,suicide and even corruption have become evident from the continuation of this "sport" in recent times. I think that General Pastika has had the courage to "take the bull by the horns" in his decision to end cock fighting as indeed he has with other issues he has found himself having to deal with. He has done his job very well under the circumstances since his appointment as Police Chief here and I for one am very proud of his honorable achievements. May he continue his "clean up" campaign...to make Bali a better place for it's peoples. Good luck to him I say...
