Best way to spend b'day in Bali?

Hi all,

Going to Bali in June with a group of six twenty year old girlfriends and trying to come up with a special way to celebrate my birthday. Was thinking of booking us all in for a day at a spa and then the ubiquitous dinner and dancing, but was hoping for some ideas with a bit more pizazz. Any funky restaurants that would be a good start???

Also, two more quick questions :

1. Is it true that Bali is hosting an international surfing comp in June/July ?
2. Is Apaches still open ?
