Read some of your archived stuff. Very interesting. I enjoyed your obvious enthusiasm for Yogya. Persuasive stuff.
Actually I must confess that I am not as ignorant as I claim to be about Yogya, my daughter and Timorese son-in-law lived there whilst studying at Gajah Mada uni. She did a thesis on the criminal justice system in Indo. and they were there during the East Timor crisis, which was worrying for us but did not concern them at all. They luv the place and tell me of classical Javanese culture with an active western sub-culture. They are pestering us into changing our plan for the Bali trip; so that's why we are seeking other peoples views before deciding. I suppose the real question is whether we do it this trip or some later trip.
They recommend Dusun(Sp)Yogya Village Inn. Do you know of it?
