Wouldn't miss it, forget all about going to Matahari! Amazing range of things for sale, no telling what is going to be there on any particular day, depends what is delivered. Best place for soap, shampoo, toothpaste etc, as it all has to be bought in bulk, like 3 toothpaste instead of one, etc but cheap, cheap, cheap! Also a good range of "foreign" makeup things like cleansers, facial scrubs, skin creams at a 1/4 of the price we would pay at home. Good place for towels too, plus the extra suitcase to take it all home in!
You will have to pay the extra for day entry, and when you go into Makro, you also have to deposit bags, cameras etc at the counter, so don't take anything of value with you just to be on the safe side. Not that I am saying anything would be taken, but better to be safe, could happen anywhere.
The trolleys are BIG and hard to manouevre. Great little cafe inside too selling yummy cheap food - and also places to eat outside if your other half gets bored!
