We stay at lembongan for 2 weeks every time we go to Bali. Our kids and husband surf Shipwrecks mostly. We stay at the Puri Nusa. It is directly out the front of Shipwrecks, about 1 km down the beach from where the perama lands. We stay in a family room out the back, no views but nice and quiet. It has an upstairs and downstairs with 2 king size beds and they put in extra mattresses for the kids. The front bungalows have verandahs and overlook shipwrecks. We pay 100,000 per night for the family room and you can negotiate down to about 60,000rp for the double rooms. They are clean, with a fan and cold water shower. The electricity is off during the day.
We snorkel at Nusa Penida, and it is great. The kids also snorkell during the day in the bay. Mainski is good but mostly singles stay there, Mandara, as you get off the boat is a nice place, you would just need 2 rooms.
Coconut resort is 62 US per night and you would need 2 rooms. It is nice and has 2 pools, but gets busy during the day and the restaurant is expensive.
You don't need to book but here is the phone number for puri Nusa and Mandara, in case you want to make contact. We ring first and the staff pick us up in their boat, so we don't have to walk the km with our packs! Puri Nusa is (62) 0366 24482. Mandara is (62) 366 24470.
