We stayed at Niksoma on our 1st trip to Bali in 2001. Loved the Balinese decor,large uncrowded pool,large rooms with balconies with sea glimpses. The newly renovated Niksoma looks to be lots of concrete and without its old peaceful gardens and quiet Balinese feel so after reading this forum we hope to book Kumala Pantai for July 2004.
We have 3 teenage boys (14,17,19) Should we book 2 deluxe rooms or an Ambassador Suite. We think garden views would be more peaceful and private than pool views. What do you think?? Our boysare keen surfers and will set alarms early to get out on the waves Do any balconies have sea glimpses so they can crawl back to bed if surf flat?? Isthis hotel generally more couples and older familiesthan lots of little children in pool etc?
