Stayed in poolside cottage Sept.
The one we stayed in was right by the pool, single storey, but with interconnecting door to ajoining unit. No one in there as they were doing maintenance but one day we heard them sweeping up and we could hear them talking very clearly. Other than that.. quiet, as not on road side, nice huge verandah to sit on with comfy soft armchairs (shove cats off first).
There were double storey at "back" of Hotel also. We particularly requested no one be over the top us if poss as very light sleepers.
Haved stayed at Aston/Blue Moon/Mercure/Nusa Lembongan/Kumala Pantai this year and must say Ramayana Cottages looked a little tired in comparison. Dark bathroom, shower over bath, pool only average (two pools) Prefer Legian/Seminyak area ourselves.
The new suites, although not finished when we visited looked fantastic, although heaven knows the price!!
