Bernard will cost 200,000 rupiah a day,This includes petrol & parking fees .He has a very comfortable large air-conditioned van.He is honest,easy going & has a great sense of humour.You will not be taken anywhere that he gets kickbacks.If you have a specific purchase in mind he will ask you if you know where you want to go to get it or give you a few choices.He will look after you.He can do airport pickups,day tours or just a day's shopping trip.He will even take you up to Lovina if you want to get further afield.He even helps you carry around all your shopping.
He speaks very good English & is great with kids.Our son adored him.He can take you via the scenic route if you are not in a hurry or will take the short cuts if you want to get some where quickly.He lives just behind Matahari with his wife & baby daughter so he is nice & central.His neighbour also does laundry at a good price & he will drop it off & pick it up for you.
I know he IS going back to his families village to celebrate Christmas with his parents but I am not sure exactly when he is leaving the Kuta area or how long he is going for.
You will NOT be disappointed if you use him & he WILL reply to your emails.He usually logs on once a week.
Some people from BTF have recently used him as their driver & said they were very happy with him.He recently took a young Australian couple out for a day trip including a visit to Uluwatu temple & they were so pleased with his service that at the end of the day they gave him a tip of 100,000 Rupiah.He was amazed at their kindness.
