As most of the regular visitors in Ubud knows, this is THE place to find some excellent restaurants to enjoy your lunch and/or dinner!
Not only the established businesses (Lotus Cafe, Batan waru etc...) but now there are also some new players around!
We spent our latest holiday up on jalan Bisma, which is very close to the city centre yet quiet and a bit "rural" and discovered a rather unusual new eatery up there:
"Cafe des Artistes" is a Belgian owned place, and serves excellent food, both International (Yummie steaks and ribs!!) and Indonesian in a nice atmosphere.
If you're around, climb the hill at jalan Bisma and check the place out, it s far enough to ensure you a peacefull lunch/dinner and close enough to the main road, so you don't need any transport at all to get there!
Next year, i'll be back for some more delicious meals!
