I would book a driver to take you to any places of interest.
You can book a recommended driver or negotiate with a driver from your Hotel or from the street. Do a search of the BTF for drivers.
A driver will stop for as long as you want at points of interest. Stop if you want to take road side or scenery photos. Often take back roads thru villages and you get to see more of the 'real' Bali.
You pay around 200,000 - 300,000 rp per day for a full day tour and that price includes the petrol. It is often far more expensive to book thru a tour company.
I think its good to see Kintamani, Lovina, Git Git waterfalls, Lake Bedugal, Uluwatu, Tanah Lot, Ubud, to name a few.
