Manki, not sure of what you are looking for in a spa but if money is not too much of an issue and you want something speciaI think you can do quite well by looking at a few more up-market spas. According to archives the Ritz Carlton is to die for, 11/10, but you pay for it. There is a gorgeous spa over Galleria on the D/sar bypass Rd ("Kuta Galleria" will get you there) "Jamu Jamu" - upmarket, amazing ambience, never actually seen a spa where I've walked around "agape" at the decor, but not too expensive. My husband who has massages everywhere (for therapeutic reasons!!) says it was the best he has ever had. I only indulged in a facial but extremely professional. Visa bill? AUS$78.00. I would pay that for facial alone in Aus.
Personally I feel that if you are going to indulge your lady, do it in style if you can. Mega Brownie points!! (sorry if not Aus and don't understand my "humour") Search archives, although MBR and Ramayana etc etc are quite nice, they are not the ultimate indulgence that I read into your post that you were looking for.
