should have posted this earlier, been back 10 days. like everyone else wishing i was back there again.
aim of this visit was to celebrate a birthday out of oz, deb and i both had ours over there
left sept. 5th flying garuda business class. FANTASTIC. arrive at airport and cant wait for the silver doors to open. duty free shopping and straight to lounge for g&t and S&C, and it was only 7.30am.
great service. only complaint no movie so continued on drinking.
finally arrived and im sure 10 other planes did to so had a bit of a queue in customs.
no problems in customs then straight to a taxi to bali garden hotel for next 4 nights. which ended up 5 as we were a tad tired.
good room met great people good location.
to anyone that was there at the same time we celebrated many birthdays.
watched afl footy at the stadium cafe. hello to all you crows supporters.
went to legian and did a surfing course. a lot harder than i thought but i did manage to stand up and now ihave to practice. unfortunately too many sharks in sa water.
