Hello excited Adam, use the bottled water or water in flask in your room, (remember it could be cold), to brush your teeth. I've never worried about keeping face dry, etc etc, in shower, I think just don't swallow it, just in case.
We will in Ubud after you, but enjoy the place. See my post below re Ubud Nights, some hints there.
And have fun, remember the sunblock, even in Ubud !!
