Gwenda I think you did great I was so glad to read your JBR and I bet you had all the acylation from you good deeds which was well credited to you and you certainly deserved . I am though a bit dismayed that you mention the directors of the orphanage have great plans for building a gym & swimming pool when before you described the horrific conditions the young children have to endure by having to sleep two to a single bed and having a soup dish to eat that is a week old, the condition of the kitchen facilities which you mentioned . I there for am not sure that my donation would be well spent on facilities that would more please the directors than the Orphans . The ugly head rears up again and again , sounds so familiar as does the RED CROSS and the Bali tragedy where we Australians dig deep in our pockets to assist our fellow Aussies in the hour of need . You all know how deep we did dig in our pockets to donate some 14.5 million Aud Dollars only to hear that a mire 5 million had been distributed after 12 months since the tragedy. Think about it if you were to put 10 or 9 million in the bank for 12 months what would be the interest on that kind of money. I bet none of interest will every be distributed to those that need it. Not trying to be nasty but it dose cross my mind to think of how many directors of the Orphanage are taking pages out of the RED CROSS book . If the Directors were fare dink um they would discard the gym and swimming pool and concentrate on a decent kitchen and sleep facilities have running races for the kids and swimming lessons in the local river or stream.
