as is the atmosphere.
Bali Hyatt is an old property now and, unless you pay the premium to stay in Regency Club, then you would certainly enjoy the Beach Wing Rooms or "Santrian Club" at Puri Santrian much more from a comfort point of view and still be right on the Beach.
I just adore the Pavilions - as do any of my clients who have stayed there. NO pretense here...just genuine warm and friendly Balinese Hospitality from a staff overseen by the General Manager (lady from South Korea) Ilsoon Kang. Here Breakfast is included - served by your personal staff in your Villa, Room Service Menu at not much more than Street Restaurant Prices and Mini Bar at Supermarket prices (+ obligitory Tax).
Pavilions is just across the main street (Jl. Danau Tamblingan) from Gazebo Mall (associated with Gazebo Cottages Beach Hotel)..great local Restaurants (like Made's Frangipani across the road next to Gazebo) and just a 5 minute walk to Sanur Beach and its Restaurants and Markets.
With the Beach Redevelopment programme at Sanur, you probably wouldn't swim much from the beach (great for walking and shopping though), so I would personally suggest you try Pavilions for the feel of "real Bali".
They have some great rates on offer right now too. See their Website at www.balipavilions.com and, if you want more information, don't hesitate to email me from the link above.
Cheers,
