Buying SOFTWARE & DVDs

I did read the archives before I posted my questions, however the more I read the more confused I became. So I thought it best to post my own 2 queries.

1. Can I purchase microsoft office? where? and is it worth it?

2. DVDs (excuse my ignorance on this one) I have watched a few DVDs from Bali and they had english subtitles throughout the movie. Do all DVDs bought in Bali have subtitles? Where's the best place to buy DVDs? (without subtitles if possible).
