If you are changing agents because of a better price be careful doing your sums. The wholesaler will probably keep your deposit and the agent that you are currently booked through will more than likely charge a cancellation fee. If you are within 45 days it may be more. So it would have to be an extremely good saving to be worth the effort. Also it is also unlikely that the agent would refund any extra money that you have paid on the spot, so you may have to come up with the full amount to make the booking elsewhere. If you do decide to cancel usually it has to be in writing. Hope this helps.
