Was out celebrating bestfriends b/day with our daughters, didn't hit Sari Club as kids were tired after surf lesson - in hotel for 1/2 hr before hell hit. Going back on 16/6. Not scared at all. Loved the place & adored the locals. I will not allow a few fanatical minorities tell me how & where I travel to or even live. Getting alot of flack from my parents & older friends. We'll be back in 15 sleeps & will go back again & again. Have sent a letter to our driver from last trip & know he's doing it tough - he has 2 sons that need to continue education as every child around the world should be allowed to have. We're taking clothes, books, pens etc & will pay for his sons' next year of schooling.. & the next & the next until the Balinese get on their feet. I've read it only cost about $100aud for one year per student to put them thru school. I spend than that on grog a month. Giving up a silly pleasure for the education of a child is so simple. I urge every reader to look into sponsoring a child thru school. Lets make this an educated world, not an angry, nasty, hell hole. Our future should be invested in our youths. Lets look forwards not backwards & grow together regardless of creed or religion. Peace to all
