I have been to the Monkey Forest at Ubud on each of my trips and love it. I have taken a bag of peanuts hidden in my bag each time and have never had a problem. Just be cunning so that they don't see where it is coming from. Don't try and touch them especially the babies as mum can get quite cranky. We have lovely photos were the monkeys have climbed up and sat on my husbands arms and been happy to be hand fed with the peanuts.
