I'm not much good at bargaining, and am particularly concerned about not offending any of the local Balinese merchants when we're out shopping on our upcoming visit to Bali. Still, we are on a budget and would like to pay fair market prices for some of the things we want to buy on our visit. I'm hoping someone (perhaps just returned) can tell me what we can expect to pay for the basic tourist stuff. Sarongs? Shirts? Silver, etc. We definitely aren't interested in driving too hard of a bargain - we know the Balinese need our support and tourist dollars.
Any suggestions, guidelines to follow?
Thanks.
