We went last September and going again in Oct which is end of the wet season but still in the low season and you get the great deals with the hotels. Last time stayed at Merlin Beach a fabulous hotel but we thought a little for out for us. This time we are staying in at Holiday Inn (near the Patong Merlin) not too far a walk from anything. Try <www.phuket.com> it's a great site and a lot of good info in the archives. Try Qantas web site for flight scheduals. Hope this has helped. Cheers Geri
