Hi,
Well,In compare to Indonesia and Thailand,the Thai goverment obviously knowing the needs of tourist and treat tourist well than Indonesia.
We were used to travel to both Indonesia and Thailand,but our friends are considering seriously to travel to Thailand this year instaed of Indonesia,especially for the so-called new visa/immigration rule that would probably effected on this October..
For our personal opinion: Paton beach is too noisy and seriouly polutted,try to go a little further such as : Karon or kata beach...or consider fly to Koh-Samui.... the second largest island in Thailand
