Have heard also Santa Fe bar in Seminyak has live music and pretty good. Legian Garden Rest in Jl.Melasti used to be great fun at night, not sure now but they also have one of the best breakfasts and cheapest in Bali. We take over nail polishses for the girls on the beach. Clothes are ALWAYS welcomed by both male and female, I do a whip around of my friends before we go and get their cast offs and take them with us. The kids love toys, ie dolls and also things that blow bubbles they love. I have also found that they like Australian coins $2,1, 50C pieces as they make jewllery out of them and then resell, especially the beach vendors as they are doing it really tough at the moment. When we leave we always give them all our shampoo soap tea coffee etc which saves packing it and taking it home. Stationery for school kids is very welcome as they have to pay for schooling there and its not cheap for them I think around 1,000,000Rup to start then ongoing fees after that.
