The Grand Mirage is in Tanjung Benoa, just down from Nusa Dua. I have stayed twice at this hotel and love it, I wouldn't say it is posh. It is opposite the bulk of the shopping and restaurants which are far cheaper than the ones at Nusa (Galleria and the Hotels). They have a free shuttle to the Galleria and just go out the front and hail a blue or gold cab to go into Kuta, only 25 mins in a cab. Which wholesale company is offering the cheap deal. We are looking to return this year.
