Hi Chadders have a great time in Bali, it all depends on your own preference, we have taken t/c in sterling and u/s dollars and had no trouble changing them at a proper money changers, always check the amount you are given though. If you have enough time before you go have some Rupiah as well just in case you need cash before you can change some t/c, we tend to have around £50.oop worth, you can get this from your bank, that way you don't get charged, depending though on your type of bank account. You can also take sterling cash with you , this can also be changed but they only like new notes, any torn or wrinkled ones won't be accepted, you get a better rate for cash.
