Admitedly Im not an athlete! However I found that I did a lot of walking daily, balanced my diet with lots fruit ( eg. often had fruit for lunch so I could have indonesian for tea) and there were good choices around as well as some not so good for the waist line- I managed to balance it out ( even with those bintags!) and lose a bit of weight into the bargain. You can get sushi, & seafood .Very hot so you sweat if out as well.
You can order indonesian brekkies or western, so you should be able to balance the carbs against the protein! Had a few good salads as well.
