We have booked via San Michele to go to Bali on about 6 occasions. A couple of trips had tricky "detours" to Java and Lombok. Up until last year we have been very pleased with their service and attention to detail.
We again booked for Bali last year with SM (Melbourne office). I was most unimpressed with the offhand attitude of the staff. In particular I was annoyed at the way the manager would swan around with a headset, taking phone calls, while I was trying to discuss our travel details. Our complaints were eventually sorted out by Aileen in Sydney who was most helpful.
We will never use SM again.
